Here is a recipe for a no fruit and super powered chocolate green smoothie. Turmeric or also known as Curcumin is an herb that is awesome for inflammation. I use it in a lot of my cooking, but just thought recently I should start putting it into my smoothies, especially when I make a chocolate smoothie. It goes great with chocolate. One of the biggest reasons I love smoothies is because it is such an awesome way to get your vegetables in at every meal, along with all kinds of super foods that would be hard to take everyday. Raw apple cider vinegar is great, especially in vanilla and lemon and lime smoothies, but just go a little smaller dose on the chocolate so it doesn’t have a sour aftertaste. It will help with digestion of all the fiber and greens. If your smoothie just doesn’t turn out good, you may need to find a better tasting protein powder, add some frozen berries, or try a little coconut milk and more stevia.

2 cups water
1-2 cups greens. Today I used cucumber and kale
2 scoops of your favorite chocolate or vanilla protein powder
English Toffee flavor of Sweet Leaf drops of Stevia- flavor to how sweet you need it
1 tablespoon of coconut oil, or MTC oil
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp organic vanilla
1/2 tsp raw apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1 tsp of Maca powder (if you have it)
2 scoops of raw chocolate powder or raw cocoa powder
2 handfuls of ice
